1. Jack in the Cu Chi Tunnels outside of Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). This tunnel complex connected to the Ho Chi Minh Trail which connected all the way north to Hanoi.
2. Jack at the Orphanage. The Omdahl family works with a local orphanage in Hanoi. So as part of our trip, we gathered up clothes and supplies in extra suitcases and brought them over with us. The orphanage is run by the monks at a Buddist temple.
3. Jack with Addison Omdahl at the "Hanoi Hilton" where John McCain was imprisoned.
4. Chanda found this salon near the Omdahls house which catered to foreigners. So for Vietnam prices we enjoyed manicures and full body massages.
5. Chanda and Natasha doing a morning workout in Hanoi to the amusement of the local farmers.
6. Jim eating PHU, the local breakfast. He regrets it later.
7. Jack - bartering for snacks - on our cruise ship at Halong Bay, 3 hrs north of Hanoi.
8. Halong Bay is several thousand limestone islands scattered throughout this large bay. We did a two day cruise on the bay.
9. Chanda — Morning on Halong Bay.
10. Halong Bay —Dinner toast on the "cruise ship".
11. The Omdahl home in Hanoi. All the embassy staff lived in the nicest homes in Hanoi. This is four stories. The houses are very narrow, because property taxes are determined by the width of your home.

14. Video Clip is the entrance to the Cu Chi Tunnels. The North Vietnamese purposefully made the tunnels tiny so the "big" Americans couldn't fit.
