All, here is the tentative schedule for the D Fam 08 Reunion.
FAMILY REUNION SCHEDULE
SATURDAY:
OPTIONAL: Anyone who is in town: watch fireworks show in Ted & Cindy's backyard.
SUNDAY:
5PM: Sunday Dinner at Mom & Dad's
DINNER: Manti chicken BBQ, Utah families bring potluck side dishes
Mom & Dad talk a little about their family history
MONDAY:
BREAKFAST: on your own
9AM: Meet at Mom & Dad's for 7 PEAKS
LUNCH: bring in Subway 6' subs. Rent pavillion.
DINNER: Costco pizza, salad, fruit (or Carne Asada/Chicken Tacos)
OVERNIGHTER AT MOM & DAD'S (backyard - tents)
Dutch Oven Desserts
Skit Night (each family prepares a short skit to perform)
Sing around campfire (fire pit in backyard)
TUESDAY:
BREAKFAST: all together outdoors at Mom's (Linda's camp chef)
pancakes, eggs, bacon, OJ
9:30AM: Go up AF Canyon and hike Timp Caves (before it's too hot)
LUNCH: Picnic Lunch up the canyon (decide on food)
7:00pm - Spanish Fork Rodeo (pre-show) begins. All decked out in cowboy attire.
WEDNESDAY:
BREAKFAST: on your own
10AM: Meet at Mom's for LAGOON
LUNCH: sack lunches
DINNER: (at Keri's) pulled pork sandwiches (crock pot), fruit, salad
THURSDAY:
BREAKFAST: on your own
9:30AM: Meet at Mom's for BOONDOCKS (ages 10 & up) 10AM - 4PM
KANGAROO ZOO (ages 9 & under) 10AM - 1PM
LUNCH: Bring sack lunches to Boondocks
4:30 PM: Adults leave for 5:30 PM dinner at Rodizio Grill in Salt Lake (Back by 8 or 8:30PM)
Older grandkids are in charge of babysitting. Play games, paint faces, put on mini- "carnival" outside for kids.
8:30: FINALE: Outdoor movie in backyard (optional)

Hi Everyone,
Thanks to whoever has done all the leg work and put together the agenda and plans for the family reunion. It looks great. Just a suggestion - The highlight of family reunions for me have always been the family testimony meetings. This one doesn't have one. Could we think about changing the last day schedule so we have a half day of activities and then close with a testimony meeting? We could have refreshments afterwards or even do the movie thing. I'd just rather do that than go to dinner in SLC. Let me know what you think. Thanks again.
